Every Vice City district named so far
Ocean Beach, Bayside, Stockyard and the port came off the footage. Watson Bay and Washington Beach came from Rockstar telling you where your bonus car is parked.

Vice City is around twice the size of Los Santos, so it's a city you'll learn district by district more than landmark by landmark. Several of those districts have names now, and they came from three different places, which is worth keeping straight.
| District | What's there | How the name reached us | In the 2002 game |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ocean Beach | Art deco frontage, pastel, white sand | Read off footage | Yes |
| Bayside | Waterfront residential | Read off footage | No |
| Stockyard | Large-scale mural work | Read off footage | No |
| Vice City Port | Container terminal, in both trailers | Read off footage | No |
| Watson Bay | Contains Paradise Garage | Rockstar press copy | No |
| Washington Beach | Where the Squalo is docked | Rockstar press copy | Yes |
| Shore Court | A garage near Ocean Beach | Rockstar press copy | No |
| Southside | Signposted off Exit 3 | Read off a road sign | No |
| Peacock Bay | Signposted off the same exit | Read off a road sign | No |
Three kinds of evidence
The right-hand columns are the point. A name read off a shop sign, a name Rockstar wrote into its own marketing copy, and a name on an overhead highway sign are three different qualities of evidence, and most lists print them exactly the same way.
The press copy tier exists by accident. Nobody publishes a district list, but somebody has to write down where your Ultimate Edition car is parked, and that's how Watson Bay, Washington Beach and Shore Court got into the record. The Vercetti Estate arrived the same way, as the place the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers come from.

Southside and Peacock Bay are the newest, and the thinnest
Both come from a single overhead sign in Trailer 2, reading Exit 3, SW 9th Ave, Southside, Peacock Bay. Neither name shows up anywhere else in official material: not in dialogue, not in press copy, not on a shopfront.
They're there because somebody at Rockstar built a road network coherent enough to need exit signage, and signage names places. We wrote the find up in full, and the frame is shot 9 of Trailer 2 if you want to check it against the official video.
The street name's a small confirmation of its own. SW 9th Ave follows Miami's quadrant grid, where every address hangs off a north-south and east-west axis. So Rockstar's brought over the addressing system along with the palm trees.
The 2002 connection
Ocean Beach and Washington Beach were both districts in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002. Their return is the strongest sign so far that Rockstar has kept the old district geography as a skeleton, and hasn't just built an unrelated city that happens to share a name.
The Vercetti Estate says the same thing, louder. Tommy Vercetti was the protagonist of that game, and Rockstar put the name in its own marketing copy instead of hiding it in a trailer frame.
Don't take it too far, though. Forty in-universe years have passed, the city's been rebuilt around modern money, and a returning name isn't a returning character. An estate can carry a family name for completely undramatic reasons.
The barrio that doesn't have a name yet
Footage shows a barrio neighbourhood with Cuban-American visual cues that would correspond to Little Havana. The name hasn't been confirmed, and we're not printing it as if it has.
Rockstar hasn't published a district map or a complete list. Boundaries, how many districts there are, and whether these are neighbourhoods or bigger zones are all still open. Our map section has a page for each named district and an interactive schematic of the state.
