Washington Beach
Where Rockstar docks the Ultimate Edition speedboat, and a district name carried over from the 2002 game.
Rockstar's Ultimate Edition copy has the Shitzu Squalo docked at Washington Beach, with a weapons crate of explosives on board.
A name with history
Washington Beach was a district in the 2002 Vice City game. It was one of three that split the eastern barrier island between them: Ocean Beach at the south end, Washington Beach in the middle and Vice Point to the north.
Two of those three names are back now. That's the strongest sign so far that Rockstar has kept the old district geography as a skeleton and built on it, instead of making an unrelated city and reusing the title. It's also a different kind of evidence from a name read off a trailer, because this one came from Rockstar's own copy.
The real-world counterpart is the stretch of Miami Beach north of the South Beach blocks. It's quieter and more residential than the strip, the art deco hotels thin out, and it's where people actually live.
Moorings matter more this time
A named place where your boat lives is a bigger deal in this game than it would've been in earlier ones. The story starts in the Leonida Keys, where the water is the road. Grassrivers is wetland you can get through by boat. Vice City has water on several sides.
A boat with a weapons crate, moored at a named beach in the city, is kit you're meant to put to work. Nobody hands you a crate of explosives just to leave it bobbing at a marina.
It also points to a city with a working waterfront. A mooring you come back to is a fixed point on the map, the same way Paradise Garage is a fixed point for a vehicle. Two of those in the launch material suggest storage is tied to actual places, and that you won't just be pulling things out of a menu.

How much of the 2002 map should you expect
Less than the name suggests. The two games are twenty-four years apart, set in different decades and built for different hardware, and Rockstar has described this Vice City as a modern city. It hasn't called it a remake of the old one.
The safest reading is that the district names carry real information and the layouts don't. A returning name tells you roughly where in the city something is and what kind of place it is. It tells you nothing about which street anything's on.
What isn't known
Rockstar has named the district and said what's moored there. It hasn't shown Washington Beach as a place, described its boundaries, or said whether the 2002 layout survives in any form. Everything above about the real-world location is context, and none of it's confirmation.
