About 6 Insider
6 Insider is an independent site about Grand Theft Auto 6. We post the news as Rockstar puts it out, go through the trailers and screenshots frame by frame, and build reference pages for the vehicles, characters, locations and systems we've seen so far.
The game's out on 19 November 2026. Between now and then, every time Rockstar posts anything, there's roughly twice as much to know about it. And the confident writing about it that isn't based on anything grows a lot faster than that. We want this site to be the version you can check.
Who writes it
Everything here is written and edited by Wes Calloway. That's a pen name: the person behind it runs the site for RNG Media, the company in Spain that publishes it, and keeps the name for this work. One person, so if something's wrong, it's on them, and you can tell them on the contact page.
The job is mostly watching. Every trailer and screenshot Rockstar puts out gets gone through frame by frame at full resolution, which is where the signs, adverts and storefronts you'll find in the breakdowns come from. News gets checked against where it started before it goes up, and every story carries a label saying whether Rockstar confirmed it, somebody reported it, or it's a rumour.
How we handle information
There's a lot of guesswork in Grand Theft Auto coverage, so we label things plainly. If Rockstar has shown or said something, we say so. If it's our read on a bit of footage, or another outlet's reporting, the story tells you where it came from. We'd sooner publish less and get it right.
Every article has a confidence label in the header: Confirmed, Reported, Rumour, Unconfirmed or Community. They mean something. Confirmed means Rockstar said it or showed it. Reported means a named outlet is standing behind it. Rumour and Unconfirmed mean exactly what they say, and we don't run many of them.
Wiki pages work the same way, and each one ends with a section on what isn't known yet. We'd much sooner tell you where the gaps are than fill them in with guesses. A reference page that makes things up to look complete is just a fan theory with a table of contents.
What we don't do
We don't republish other people's databases. Some sites have spent years putting together Grand Theft Auto 6 vehicle and character lists, and that work is theirs. Facts about a game are free for anyone to use. Somebody else's collection of them isn't, and rewording it doesn't change that. When a community project has done something good, we link to it and name the people who made it.
We also don't run leaked material. The 2022 breach put a lot of stolen development footage out there, and plenty of it still gets passed around as if it were fact. You won't find any of it here.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it and say what changed. The contact page is the quickest way to reach us. We make corrections on the page itself and say so there, because a reference that quietly edits its own history can't be trusted as one.
How the site is funded
6 Insider is paid for by advertising. Ads are kept clearly apart from what we write, and no advertiser gets any say in what we cover or how we cover it. Nothing on this site is sponsored. If that ever changes, it'll be labelled at the top of the piece. The privacy policy explains how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
Ownership and affiliation
6 Insider is a fan site. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. We use screenshots and trailer stills for news reporting and commentary, and they remain the property of Rockstar Games. Grand Theft Auto is a trademark of Take-Two Interactive.
