Independence and trademarks
6 Insider is an independent publication. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or associated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or any of their subsidiaries.
Grand Theft Auto, GTA, Rockstar Games and all related names, marks and logos are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. and its affiliates. We only use them to identify the game we report on, which is nominative use, and we don't claim any rights in them.
Screenshots and press material
Screenshots, key art and trailer stills on this site are the property of Rockstar Games. We publish them for news reporting, criticism and commentary, credit them wherever they're used, and take them from material Rockstar has released publicly, including its own press packs.
We don't host or distribute leaked material. Nothing from the 2022 breach appears on this site, and if someone asks us to publish it, the answer is no.
Other people's work
When we refer to work done by a community project, an outlet or a person, we link to it and name them. We don't copy it. We also don't republish other sites' compiled databases, whether they're reworded or not. If you think we've got that wrong somewhere, tell us and we'll fix it.
Takedown requests
If you own rights to something published here and want it removed, email legal@6insider.com. You don't need a lawyer, a form or a formal notice. A link and a sentence will do fine.
To help us sort it quickly, please include:
- The URL of the page, and which item on it you mean
- What the material is and why the rights are yours
- Whether you want it removed, credited differently, or licensed
- A contact address we can reply to
We aim to reply within two working days and to act within five. If the claim is clear, we'll just take the material down first and talk it through afterwards. Taking something down isn't an admission of anything. It just seems the polite order to do things in.
Not every request has to end in a removal. If you'd prefer a credit, a link or a different image, say so and we'll do that instead.
Corrections and complaints
Factual corrections go to hello@6insider.com. We fix mistakes on the page itself, openly, and say what changed. How we label confirmed, reported and rumoured information is explained on the about page.
Data protection
RNG Media S.L. is the data controller for personal data processed through this site. What's collected, why it's collected, and how to opt out of advertising cookies are all explained in the privacy policy. You can send data protection questions to legal@6insider.com.
