Watson Bay
Rockstar named it as the home of Paradise Garage, where the Ultimate Edition buggy's kept. Nothing else has been said about it.
Watson Bay exists because Rockstar had to tell you where your bonus car's parked.
The Ultimate Edition copy says the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy is stored at Paradise Garage in Watson Bay, along with its weapon locker and stash box. For a couple of months that one sentence was everything that had been published about the place.
Then Edge mentioned it. The magazine's issue 430 cover feature, out on 29 October after a visit to Rockstar North, says buses and trains in the game fully work, that Rockstar's Phil Hooker tested bus timings and routes, and that one challenge the team set was getting to Watson Bay using nothing but public transport. That's Edge's reporting from Rockstar's demo, so it's reported, but it does tell you Watson Bay is on the network.
Why one sentence gets a page
It's firmer information than most of what goes around. Rockstar wrote it into its own marketing, so nobody had to read it off a sign in a trailer frame at quarter speed. Under the confidence tiers this site uses, that puts it a full step above the districts identified from footage.
It also tells you the place is somewhere you can drive to, park in and come back to. Storage locations aren't scenery.
What the name suggests
The name suggests water, and a bay big enough to name suggests either a residential waterfront or a marina district. Rockstar's other named storage spots follow the same pattern: Washington Beach for a boat, and a Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach for a classic sedan.
Reading anything more into it would be making things up. Nobody has tied any footage to the name, and Edge's bus and train story doesn't say what the place looks like once you get there.
Paradise Garage
The garage itself hasn't been explained either. What we do know is that it holds a vehicle with a weapon locker and a stash box attached. Under the new weapon storage rules, that gives it a real job in the game, because it's somewhere you'd come back to for whatever you've stored there.
What isn't known
We don't know where Watson Bay is, how big it is, whether it's inside Vice City or somewhere else in Leonida, what Paradise Garage looks like, or whether either one turns up in the story. We also don't know which bus or train lines reach it, or why the team picked it for the challenge. This page is here to get the name down accurately, and it'll grow when there's more to say.
