Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album
It's thirty-four original tracks, out on 19 November alongside the game, with singles from Travis Scott, Cardi B, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards and more. Justice's score is a separate record that follows on 11 December.
*Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album* is a record of thirty-four original tracks made for the game. It's out on 19 November 2026, the same day the game unlocks. Rockstar lists it on its own music page, and that's where everything confirmed below comes from.
The key word there is original. Grand Theft Auto has always been built on licensed music, songs that already existed, collected into radio stations. This is new music, commissioned for the game.
The singles listed so far
Rockstar's page lists singles from:
- Yung Lean, with Future and Metro Boomin
- Travis Scott
- Morgan Wallen
- Fuerza Regida
- Rauw Alejandro
- Cardi B
- Keith Richards
- Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
That's a spread of rap, country, regional Mexican, reggaeton and rock, and it lines up with the range of the radio stations more than with any one genre. Only a game set in a fictional Florida would put a Rolling Stone next to Morgan Wallen and Fuerza Regida. Rockstar hasn't published the other titles yet, so most of the thirty-four are still unnamed.
Justice and the score
Rockstar's music page credits the French duo Justice as the game's original score composers, and on 29 October the Newswire turned that into a release of its own: *Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score*, a separate record from this one. The score is the music under missions and cutscenes, and Rockstar calls it adaptive, "dynamically tuned" to the way you play. In Grand Theft Auto V the score was written by a team that included Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist and Oh No. This time Rockstar has named one act.
The score's out on 11 December, about three weeks after the game, on double CD and triple vinyl. Justice's label, Because Music, says it's thirty tracks plus some digital bonus ones. The second single, Pusher, features Gesaffelstein and came out on 29 October. Our news piece on the score has the prices, and the odd fifty-entry digital listing that doesn't match the thirty.
Justice also put out Flower in a Hurricane with the launch trailer on 15 October. It features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and it's the song the whole trailer is cut to. Rockstar's music page put Justice among the singles for this album, but the score announcement says the song previewed the score, so it isn't clear which record it lands on, or whether it's on both. That's why the box above doesn't call it this album's lead single anymore.
A music leaker claimed in October that Rockstar tried to get Daft Punk back together first and that Justice were the second choice. It's one leaker's claim and nobody's confirmed it (our piece on the rumour).

The album and the radio were announced separately
Rockstar announced the two on their own. It named the first six radio stations on 8 October, a week before the trailer, with hosts and genres but no tracklists. The album came with its own announcement and its own release date.
Nobody's said whether the album's tracks also play on the in-game stations. That'd be the obvious place for a Travis Scott or a Cardi B single to turn up, and our guess is that some of them will. That's our inference, though, and Rockstar hasn't said it. The licensed songs already confirmed from trailers and footage are listed on radio and the soundtrack.
What isn't known
We haven't seen the full tracklist, and Rockstar hasn't said which formats and services this album's coming out on. The score's formats are known now, but this record's aren't. It's not clear whether any of the album is heard on the in-game radio, or only in cutscenes, and nobody's said whether Flower in a Hurricane belongs to this record, the score or both. The score's own track count is muddled as well, thirty on the physical listings and fifty entries on a digital one. Rockstar also hasn't said whether any of the album's artists appear in the game in person, as hosts or as characters.
