Read Lucia's texts in GTA 6's penthouse job: "10+ guys, auto weps, explosives"
During the Extended Look's high-rise shootout, Lucia's texting Jason from inside the party. At 4K you can read every word.

There's a sequence near the end of the Extended Look that most people watched in the dark, literally. Jason creeps through unlit office floors in a high-rise while, upstairs, a party's going on under purple and blue lights. Lucia's at the party. And she's texting him.
The messages pop up as notifications on screen for about a second each. We pulled them from the 4K master, and they tell you more about the job than anything else in the scene.
The first text

It's all caps, which is a nice touch: GUYS EVERYWHERE. Jason's in a dark office with the city lit up through the window behind him, and that's all she sends. It's a warning, sent in a hurry.
The second one
A few seconds later, as Lucia crouches by a glowing table at the party with her phone out, a longer one comes in:
"After Czr, he's in saferoom, 10+ guys, auto weps, explosives, sound military..."
Somebody's holed up in a safe room. He's guarded by more than ten men. They've got automatic weapons and explosives, and they sound military. It's typed the way someone would actually type it with their thumbs while trying not to get noticed: "weps", no full stops, trailing off at the end.
Who's "Czr"?
We don't know, and we're not going to guess a name. It reads like a shorthand for a person or a place, the way you'd text a mate about someone you'd both already discussed. "After Czr" could mean after they've dealt with someone called that, or that the men went after him. Either way, Rockstar's left it there on purpose, and it's going to be a fun one to find out in November.
What the rest of the footage does show is who's coming. Men in pale overalls and dust masks step out of a lift with rifles, one of them on a walkie-talkie, and the party breaks into panic. The man in the bow tie and tinted glasses on the stairs earlier looks like he's the host. The scene ends with the lights out and a lot of shooting.
Why the texts matter
GTA 5 put its mission information in phone calls and a menu. This looks like Rockstar delivering it in the moment, as notifications from the other character while you're playing as the first. It fits everything we know about character switching in GTA 6: you're one half of a pair, and the other half's busy somewhere else.
It's also a small, very human bit of writing. Lucia's the one inside, she's scared, and she's still the one keeping Jason informed. That's the dynamic between Lucia and Jason the trailers keep hinting at.
If you want to see it yourself, the sequence is just under twenty-four minutes into the Extended Look. Have your thumb on pause.
Who are you more looking forward to playing?
Rockstar has not said how switching between them works.
