Pagasi Residences
Two curved waterfront towers in Vice City, with a third under construction behind them.
The Pagasi residences are a pair of curved waterfront towers that have been sitting in the background of Vice City shots for a long time. The Vice City 10 screenshot is the first clean look at them.
The rooftop terrace showed up briefly at the end of the Extended Look, and a third tower looks to be going up behind the first two.
Why a building gets its own page
Most towers in a Grand Theft Auto skyline are just geometry. This one's been recognisable across several pieces of official material over a period of years, and that makes it useful. When the same distinctive outline keeps turning up in shots taken from different spots, it becomes a fixed point, and fixed points are what the community mapping effort uses to work out where the camera was standing. Line a screenshot up against the towers and you get a rough idea of where it was taken from, and which way it was facing.
A pair of curved towers with a third going up behind them is about as handy a landmark as that process could ask for.
Miami's condo towers
Curved waterfront residential towers are the Miami building of the last twenty years. The city's skyline was largely rebuilt through the 2000s and 2010s with exactly this: glass condo blocks on the water, often built in matched pairs or threes by the same developer, and very often with a third phase going up while the first two are still selling.
Rockstar showing a third tower behind the finished pair is a sharp bit of observation about how that construction actually happens. These developments are almost never finished. There's always another phase.
The rooftop
The terrace at the end of the Extended Look is the most interesting detail here, because Rockstar doesn't usually show an interior space it's got no plans for. Grand Theft Auto V got a lot out of high-end apartments, first in the story and then much more in its online mode.
What isn't known
Nobody's confirmed whether any of it can be entered, let alone owned. The name hasn't been explained, no district has been attached to it, and the third tower might just be permanent scenery that never gets finished.
