About this section
Side activities are what make a Rockstar game feel different from an open world with some missions dropped in, and Grand Theft Auto 6 has more of them confirmed than any entry since San Andreas.
Some are shown outright in official material: a reef with a diver working along it, Lucia lifting weights, a kayak on a river at sunrise, men with rifles in the pines. Others come from reporting on the Extended Look, and those pages say so. We keep the two apart.
The one that keeps surprising people is the San Andreas body system coming back. What you eat changes how Jason and Lucia look, and skipping the gym costs you muscle. Rockstar left that mechanic behind after San Andreas in 2004 because it's expensive to build, and now it's built it for two protagonists instead of one.
